It is with great regret that we announce that the Christmas in Killarney Magic Parades, which have been such a huge part of the festive season celebrations in the town, will not take place this year due to Covid-19 restrictions.

The public will, however, be able to experience some of the magical elements of the parades in strategic locations around Killarney where spectacular floats will be on display as part of a visual and audial feast that will bring the joy and magic of Christmas to life.

Come and see the magnificent oats lighting up the town, post your letter to the man himself in Santa’s Post Box on Main Street, take a souvenir photograph next to Santa’s Sleigh and enjoy the atmosphere and incredible lights that make Killarney Ireland’s greatest Christmas town.

Visit St Mary’s Cathedral and view the magnificent Tree of Light within the grounds – it truly is a joy to behold on the dark evenings and it is unquestionably the most magnificent Christmas tree in the entire country. Christmas will be different this year but the opportunity is there, as always, to spend time with family, friends and loved ones. Take advantage of our great natural surroundings and enjoy the season of goodwill in the best place on earth to spend some time at Christmas.

We hope you have a wonderful time with us and wish you a safe, happy and healthy Christmas in Killarney 2020.
